What we would tell you on the range
- Stretch and sleeve cut. The long sleeves taper lightly down the wrist to keep fabric clear of your grip. Four-way stretch through the back and chest gives your arms full room to turn and finish without pulling the hem loose.
- Collar and placket. We built the collar to sit close at the neck for sun coverage and keep its crisp line when washed. The three-button placket lets you open up the chest when the day warms up.
- Side vents and hem. Subtle slits at the side seams let the bottom edge drape flat over the waist. It stays anchored if you tuck it in, but sits clean and level worn untucked.
- Fabric care. Wash cold with similar colors and hang it to dry. The lightweight knit sheds water quickly and will not need an iron to keep the body and collar flat.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
