What we would tell you on the range
- Four-way stretch knit. The lightweight fabric gives through the back and chest during a full swing, then snaps back into place. It pulls sweat away from your skin and dries quickly when the afternoon heat picks up.
- Collar and placket build. We built the three-button placket with a contrast print along the inner stand. The collar stays crisp and flat through eighteen holes without curling at the tips after a long afternoon in the sun.
- Vented lower hem. Side slits at the bottom hem give your hips room to turn when you swing. The drop sits at a practical length that stays in place tucked into trousers or left out over shorts.
- Wash and care routine. Turn the shirt inside out and wash on cold with like colours. Hang it up to dry to protect the stretch yarn and keep the palm pattern sharp round after round.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
- Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.
Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
