What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight knit. The fabric brings enough body to cut early morning wind while letting heat vent when the sun breaks through. Four way stretch keeps the chest and arms clear through every turn.
- Contrast collar build. We built the collar with a contrast interior band and a structured three button placket. It stands crisp under a windbreaker and keeps its line after a full eighteen holes.
- Sleeve and side vents. Long sleeves provide steady arm coverage in brisk weather without binding at the wrists. Split side vents let the hem rest flat over golf trousers whether tucked in or left out.
- Wash and care. Wash cold with similar darks and tumble dry on low heat. Pull it from the dryer while warm and smooth the collar flat with your fingers to keep the placket straight.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
