What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight knit. The fabric balances warmth for cool rounds with enough airflow for when the sun breaks through. Four way stretch lets the sleeves stay in place as you extend through your follow-through.
- Collar and placket. A structured collar keeps its shape under wind, backed by a classic three-button placket. Unbuttoning the top helps vent heat as the morning warms up, while the inner contrast keeps the neckline crisp.
- Hem with side slits. We built side slits into the lower hem so the shirt rests flat when worn untucked. The cut gives your hips room to turn during a swing without the fabric bunching up at the waist.
- Care and upkeep. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Pull it from the dryer right away to keep the collar straight and preserve the navy stripe tone over repeated rounds.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
