What we would tell you on the range
- Collar and placket. A three-button placket lets you vent heat as the morning warms up. We used contrast tipping along the collar band so the collar holds its shape without curling after multiple washes.
- Shoulder and sleeve cut. Long sleeves give complete arm coverage against wind and sun. The knit has generous mechanical stretch through the shoulders and elbows, leaving room at the top of a full backswing.
- Side vented hem. Side vents at the lower hem give the waist ease over golf trousers. The shirt hangs straight when worn untucked, staying put without bunching during setup over the ball.
- Wash and care. Cold wash with like colours on a gentle cycle. Hang dry or tumble on low heat to keep the stripe colours clear and protect the structure of the collar and cuffs.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
- Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.
Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
