What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight knit. The fabric brings enough body to block a brisk breeze without feeling heavy on the fairway. It pulls sweat away quickly and stretches four ways so the torso moves with your swing.
- Contrast three-button collar. We built the fold-down collar with a contrast inner placket and three buttons for adjustable airflow. It holds its edge flat through eighteen holes and repeated cycles through the laundry.
- Long sleeve coverage. Full-length sleeves give steady sun and wind coverage across cool mornings. The cuffs rest cleanly at the wrist without binding when you follow through at the top of your backswing.
- Split hem cut. Side slits at the hem let the shirt drape naturally over the waistband when worn untucked. Wash on cold and tumble dry low to preserve the deep wine dye and collar shape.

- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
