What we would tell you on the range
- Four-way stretch knit. The fabric pulls and recovers in all directions, so the sleeves stay settled while you turn through a swing. It sheds sweat quickly on humid afternoons and packs down light.
- Structured collar construction. We reinforced the three-button placket and collar band so the points stay flat instead of curling under the sun. It holds a crisp fold without feeling stiff against your neck.
- Side-slit hem cut. The lower hem is finished with side vents to sit flat over trousers or shorts. It gives you enough length to stay tucked, but hangs cleanly when left untucked.
- Cold water wash care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The knit resists fading and the collar keeps its shape without needing an iron.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
