What we would tell you on the range
- Four-way stretch knit. The fabric pulls in all four directions so the back panel does not bind across your shoulders at the top of a backswing. It moves moisture out fast and dries quickly in the sun.
- Collar and placket. We built the collar to hold its line through eighteen holes without curling at the tips. A reinforced three-button placket sits flat against the chest and buttons cleanly when you want extra sun coverage.
- Side vent hem. Small side slits at the hem give the bottom panel room over the waistband. The shirt hangs straight when worn untucked, without catching on your belt or bunching up when you walk.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The collar keeps its shape best if you hang the shirt straight out of the dryer while it is still warm.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
