What we would tell you on the range
- Brushed fleece backing. The smooth knit exterior sheds chilly morning wind, backed by a soft fleece lining that holds warmth close. It gives you thermal insulation without weighing down your swing.
- Mock neck and zipper. The standing collar stays upright to keep drafts off your neck. A contrasting quarter zip lets you dump heat quickly as the day warms up, sliding smoothly without catching.
- Sleeve and shoulder room. We shaped the shoulders with enough ease to pull over a base polo comfortably. Long sleeves stay down past your wrists at address without bunching around the forearms.
- Cold weather wash care. Wash cold with similar dark melange pieces and tumble dry low or hang flat. The fleece stays soft and the collar holds its shape round after round.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
