What we would tell you on the range

  • Mock collar and zip. The stand collar stays upright against a cold breeze without chafing your neck. A smooth front zip lets you vent heat quickly once the sun breaks through.
  • Shoulder room for layering. We patterned the sleeves and shoulders with enough give to fit over a collared shirt. The stretch fabric moves through your swing without pulling across your back.
  • Side tee pocket. A dedicated holder on the right side keeps a wooden or plastic tee close at hand. It sits flat so it will not bunch up under your swing path.
  • Wash and recovery. Wash cold and tumble dry on low heat. The knit holds its shape and white tone through regular wash cycles, resisting shrinking and collar roll.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
