What we would tell you on the range

Stretch jersey knit. The lightweight knit carries four way give so the fabric clears your backswing without pulling. It dries quickly on warm afternoons and stays off your skin when the humidity climbs.
Structured self collar. We built the collar to hold its line under heat. A three button placket lets you vent air as the day warms up, sitting flat against the neck without curling at the corners.
Split straight hem. Side vents at the hem give the shirt room to sit over shorts or trousers. It stays in place if you tuck it in, but the cut is meant to fall clean untucked.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry low or hang dry. The print will not bleed and the collar keeps its shape without an iron.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
