What we would tell you on the range

  • Collar and placket. A three button placket gives you control over airflow. We reinforced the self fabric collar so it resists curling and holds its line through a humid round and repeated wash cycles.
  • Stretch jersey knit. The fabric blends four way stretch with a smooth surface that moves freely over skin. It lets air through, wicks sweat, and dries fast enough to stay light when the afternoon heats up.
  • Split side hem. We added side vents at the lower hem to keep the shirt resting flat over shorts or trousers. It sits clean whether you tuck it into a waistband or wear it untucked.
  • Care and wash. Wash cold with similar darks and tumble dry low or hang to dry. The fabric resists shrinking and wrinkling, so you can pull it off the hanger without touching an iron.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
