What we would tell you on the range

  • Collar and placket. A three-button front gives you room to vent heat. We lined the inner placket and collar stand with a small geometric print, which keeps the collar structure firm and upright through repeat washes.
  • Stretch and swing. The knit moves in four directions across the upper back and shoulders. You get full reach at the top of your takeaway without the hem pulling loose or bunching across the chest.
  • Side vents and hem. We added split side vents at the lower hem so the fabric falls naturally over golf shorts or trousers. It sits flat when worn untucked, with enough length to stay anchored if you tuck it in.
  • Care and wash. Wash cold with similar colours and tumble dry on low heat. The light blue shade holds its clean tone over time, and the self-fabric collar smooths flat out of the wash without an iron.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
