We built this pullover for early tee times when the air has a bite to it. The interior holds a soft fleece back that traps warmth without adding heavy bulk. Light grey melange gives the smooth outer face a heathered look, while the stretch knit leaves your shoulders free through the backswing.

What we would tell you on the range
- Fleece interior. The inside is brushed into a low-pile fleece that holds warmth against a polo. It stays light enough that your swing does not feel weighted down by heavy winter layers.
- Mock neck and zip. A contrast quarter zip lets you dump heat once the sun breaks through. We cut the mock collar to stand clean around your neck and block cold wind without bunching under your chin.
- Shoulder and sleeve room. We gave the sleeves enough length for full coverage and cut the shoulders with four-way stretch. The fabric moves with your turn at the top of the swing instead of binding across your upper back.
- Care and wash. Wash it in cold water with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The fleece backing stays soft and the light grey melange face resists pilling over regular cycles.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
- Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.
Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
