What we would tell you on the range

Brushed fleece interior. A soft fleece backing adds warmth against a crisp breeze while keeping the overall layer light. It holds warmth close to the body without bunching under the arms during a full turn.
Stand collar and zip. The mock neck stands tall against morning wind and stays upright when unzipped. A contrasting quarter zipper lets you dump heat quickly as the sun comes out on the back nine.
Layering over a polo. We cut this piece with extra ease through the chest and upper back so it slides over a collared shirt cleanly. The fabric stretches across the shoulders and will not bind at the top of your swing.
Care and white fabric. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle to keep the white fabric bright and prevent the fleece backing from matting. Hang it dry or tumble on low heat to preserve the stretch.

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
