We built this pullover as an outer layer for cold early tees and breezy rounds. The solid black body uses a lightweight knit that stretches in all four directions, while the inner mock collar carries our palm leaf print. Long sleeves give full arm coverage against wind or sun without bunching at the wrists.

What we would tell you on the range

Palm leaf collar. The mock neck stands upright against the wind and unzips to show a palm leaf pattern along the inner placket. It sits neat over an open polo collar without pinching your neck.
Four-way stretch knit. The fabric is soft, light, and elastic across the shoulders. You get complete turn through your backswing, and the material springs back to shape as soon as you finish the follow-through.
Easy layering fit. We cut the body with enough clearance to slide smoothly over a standard golf shirt without catching. The front quarter zipper lets you dump heat once the sun breaks through.
Wash and care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low. The knit resists creasing in your golf bag, and the printed collar band holds its crisp shape without iron work.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
