What we would tell you on the range

Contrast mock neck. The stand collar uses contrast detailing to frame the neck cleanly. It stays upright when zipped and sits flat around an open polo collar when unzipped.
Four-way stretch knit. The knit stretches in four directions so your shoulders turn freely at the top of a backswing. It feels lightweight against the skin without losing its body.
Layering cut. We gave this a clean line through the torso so it slides over a polo and fits beneath a heavier wind jacket. The hem stays down through a full swing.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The collar keeps its shape and the tagless neck avoids scratchiness through repeated washes.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
