What we would tell you on the range

  • Four-way stretch knit. The fabric pulls smoothly in all directions so the shoulders do not bind at the top of your swing. It stays light against the skin, allows constant airflow, and dries quickly in high summer sun.
  • Reinforced contrast collar. We lined the inner placket and collar stand with a patterned contrast fabric. This extra layer gives the collar enough backbone to stay standing through humid rounds without curling at the tips.
  • Side-vented hem. The lower hem is finished with reinforced side slits. It sits flat across the beltline when worn untucked, giving your hips room to turn freely, and stays anchored if you prefer it tucked.
  • Wash and care. Machine wash cold with similar darks and tumble dry on low. The indigo dye holds fast through regular laundering, and the collar points keep their edge if hung straight out of the dryer.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
