We cut this polo from a smooth, lightweight stretch jersey printed with small golf clubs across a dark base. The fabric moves freely through the shoulders on a full backswing and dries quickly when the sun comes out. It wears straight as a first layer over shorts or trousers.

What we would tell you on the range

Allover clubs print. The print runs evenly across the chest, sleeves, and back panels on a black ground. The knit holds its dye through repeated wash cycles without fading or muddying the lines.
Three button collar. We built the collar to sit flat against the neck and hold its edge through eighteen holes. The three-button placket lets you open the neck for more airflow in midday heat.
Hem with side slits. Small vents at the side seams let the hem hang straight over your waistband without bunching. It stays neat when worn untucked and tucks in deep enough to stay put.
Washing and care. Machine wash cold with similar colours and hang to dry or tumble low. The synthetic jersey dries fast, resists wrinkles right out of the wash, and needs no iron to keep its shape.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
