What we would tell you on the range

Stretch jersey knit. The fabric pulls four ways so the chest and shoulders stay loose as you turn. It breathes well in direct sun and dries quickly if you sweat through the midday holes.
Collar and placket. We built the collar to hold its line round after round without rolling at the tips. The three-button placket opens up when you need extra airflow.
Split side hem. Side slits let the hem fall naturally over a waistband. The length stays tucked into trousers during a swing, but sits cleanly untucked over a pair of shorts.
Print and care. The allover pattern holds its blue tone through regular laundry. Machine wash cold with similar colours and hang to dry to keep the collar straight without an iron.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
