What we would tell you on the range

Flag print jersey. The allover gray pattern is knit directly into a smooth stretch fabric that lets air move freely. It pulls moisture away from the skin on hot afternoons and dries quickly if you run into rain.
Structured three-button collar. We built the collar to hold its line under sun and sweat. The three-button placket sits flat against the chest, so the neckline stays neat whether you fasten every button or leave the top open.
Vented lower hem. Small vents at the side seams let the bottom hem drape naturally over a belt. You can tuck it into tailored trousers or leave it loose over a pair of lightweight shorts.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with similar grays and hang it up to dry. The synthetic yarns resist shrinking and wrinkling, so the collar keeps its edge without an iron.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
