What we would tell you on the range

Stretch jersey fabric. The knit blends generous four-way stretch with a smooth hand feel. It breathes well in direct sun, sheds light moisture, and keeps off the clammy cling on humid afternoons.
Firm collar build. We cut the three-button placket to sit flat against the chest. The collar band has enough structure to hold its shape through the back nine instead of rolling under.
Split side hem. Small vents at the side seams let the lower hem rest cleanly across shorts or trousers. It sits flat when worn untucked and stays anchored when tucked into a belt.
Washing and care. Machine wash cold and hang to dry or tumble on low heat. The print resists fading across repeated cycles, and the fabric recovers smoothly without an iron.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
