What we would tell you on the range

Four-way stretch knit. The jersey fabric moves easily across the back and shoulders when you turn. It feels smooth against the skin, dries quick on warm afternoons, and keeps its shape without clinging.
Three-button collar. We built this self-fabric collar with a firm internal stand so it stays upright through eighteen holes. The three-button placket sits flat against the chest whether worn fastened or open.
Vented lower hem. Small side slits allow the hem to rest flat over shorts or trousers when worn untucked. The length gives enough fabric to tuck in neatly without pulling loose during your round.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry low or line dry in the shade. The fabric resists shrinking and wrinkling, so the print stays sharp without needing an iron.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
