What we would tell you on the range

  • Four way stretch cloth. The woven fabric flexes easily when you crouch to read a line and snaps back without bagging out. It breathes well in direct heat and dries fast if you catch morning dew.
  • Pocket layout and zip. We built two deep front pockets and two rear pockets, including a secure zipper closure on one back side. Your scorecard and tees stay put during your swing without bunching across the seat.
  • Flat front waist. A clean waistband keeps the front smooth when you tuck in a polo or wear a light pullover untucked. The tailored rise gives you room through the hips without excess bulk.
  • Wash and wear care. Toss these in a cold cycle and tumble dry on low heat to keep the khaki shade solid and the weave flat. The fabric resists wrinkling straight off the drying rack.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
