We cut this quarter zip for the first holes of the morning when the wind is up. The knit has enough give across the back for a full backswing over a collared shirt. You can pull the zip down as the day warms up.

What we would tell you on the range

Blue stripe knit. The lightweight fabric holds its shape through regular wash cycles while blocking early wind. It breathes enough to keep you comfortable through a full morning round.
Mock neck zip. A stand collar protects the neck against a cold breeze. Pull the runner down when the sun breaks through to vent air over your polo.
Shoulder room. We built the sleeves and yoke with medium stretch so the fabric clears your rotation. It pulls over a base layer without binding across the chest.
Right side tee pocket. A dedicated holder on the right side keeps wooden or plastic tees ready at hand. Wash on cold and tumble dry low to keep the stripe pattern sharp.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
