We built this pullover for the cold start of a round when the wind picks up before noon. The fabric stretches through the shoulders and torso, leaving enough room underneath for a standard collared polo without binding at the armholes. Charcoal stripe gives the body clean, quiet lines across the chest.

What we would tell you on the range

Quarter zip collar. The mock neck stands tall against an early breeze and unzips easily once the day warms up. You get steady neck coverage without the collar flopping or folding flat under a wind jacket.
Shoulder and sleeve room. We gave the sleeves and back yoke enough give to let you complete a full backswing unhindered. The fabric slides smoothly over polo sleeves so your arms move freely without bunching.
Side tee holder. A small slot on the right side holds your tees within quick reach. It keeps small items out of your pockets so the front of the layer sits flat when you address the ball.
Care and wash. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. The polyester knit dries rapidly, resists wind chill, and keeps its shape and stripe definition wash after wash without ironing.

Worth doing

Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
