What we would tell you on the range

  • Knitted waistband. We built the waistband from a wide, soft knit with an integrated elastic and drawstring. It stays flat against the waist, avoids friction through a long walk, and holds securely when pockets carry weight.
  • Storage setup. Two front pockets and two thigh cargo pockets all close with zippers. They sit flat against the leg when empty and keep tees, keys, or a scorecard secure while you walk or swing.
  • Water repellent finish. The lightweight woven fabric sheds light drizzle and surface moisture instead of soaking through. It breathes well in direct sun and dries rapidly if wet.
  • Care and colour. Wash in cold water with similar dark tones and tumble dry on low heat. The dark grey shade stays deep over repeated wash cycles without stiffening the soft hand of the fabric.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
