Women's Hiking Cargo Shorts Zipper Pockets Soft High Waisted

We cut these shorts from a lightweight, quick-drying woven fabric that handles warm afternoons and sheds light morning drizzle. The high-rise knitted waist sits flat against the torso without pinching. Four secure zippered pockets keep tees, ball markers, and a phone firmly in place while walking the fairway.

What we would tell you on the range

  • Knitted high waistband. The wide knitted band uses soft elastic and an internal drawstring to sit flat across the waist. It stays in place through bending and swinging without digging into your side.
  • Four secure zip pockets. Two hand pockets and two thigh cargo pockets all close with low-profile zippers. They sit flat when empty and keep balls, tees, and cards from spilling when you move.
  • Weather resistant weave. The lightweight fabric breathes well in high heat and carries a water-repellent finish for damp mornings. It dries fast if caught in a passing shower.
  • Wash and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Tumble dry on low heat or hang them up; the smooth woven fabric dries quickly without heavy wrinkles.

Between rounds

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
