Women's Hiking Cargo Shorts Zipper Pockets Soft High Waisted

We cut these shorts from a lightweight, quick-drying woven fabric that sheds light rain and morning dew. The dusty blue shade is dyed solid across every panel. A soft knitted waistband sits high with an internal drawstring so the waist stays put while you walk or swing.

What we would tell you on the range

  • Knitted stretch waistband. The wide knitted band uses internal elastic and a drawstring to settle flat against the waist. It moves with your turn without pinching or binding during a long round in warm weather.
  • Four secure zip pockets. Two front hand pockets and two lower cargo pockets all close with low-profile zippers. Tees, ball markers, and your phone stay flat against the leg without sliding out when you bend to read a putt.
  • Water-repellent woven fabric. Lightweight and breathable, the fabric dries fast after a passing shower or high humidity. The weave sheds light spills easily and lets air move through on hot afternoons.
  • Care and maintenance. Machine wash cold with similar colors and hang to dry. The woven fabric dries quickly on the line, resisting wrinkles and keeping its muted dusty blue tone through repeated washing.

Between rounds

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
