Women's Hiking Cargo Shorts Zipper Pockets Soft High Waisted

We cut these shorts from a lightweight, quick-drying cloth that sheds light rain and morning dew. The wide elastic knit waistband stays flat against the torso under a tucked or untucked top. Four zip pockets keep tees, markers, and a phone secure while you walk the course.

What we would tell you on the range

  • Knitted high waistband. The wide waistband uses a soft knit with an internal drawstring. It sits smooth against the waist without bunching under a golf belt or pressing hard when you bend to read a putt.
  • Four zip pockets. Two hand pockets and two lower cargo pockets close with flat zips. They run deep enough to secure a phone, scorecard, and extra tees without anything sliding out during your swing.
  • Quick drying woven shell. The lightweight shell fabric breathes well in direct sun and dries quickly if you run into rain. A water-repellent finish lets mist and light spills bead up and brush right off.
  • Care and maintenance. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The woven fabric resists creasing out of the dryer, and the pocket zips hold their line without ironing.

Between rounds

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
