Women's Hiking Cargo Shorts Zipper Pockets Soft High Waisted

We cut these shorts from a lightweight, quick-drying cloth that sheds light moisture and shields from the sun. The wide knitted waistband sits high on the waist with an integrated drawcord for an even hold. Four zip pockets give you room for tees, ball markers, and personal gear without anything sliding out during your walk.

What we would tell you on the range

  • Knitted waistband. We built the high waist from a soft knit band with an internal elastic and drawcord. It sits flat against the midsection, holds position as you bend for a ball, and prevents chafing through a full day outside.
  • Lightweight technical cloth. The solid purple fabric breathes well in warm air and dries fast when the weather turns wet. A water-repellent finish helps shed morning dew and light rain before the moisture can soak into the weave.
  • Four zipper pockets. Two hand pockets and two thigh cargo pockets all close with low-profile zips. They give you deep, secure storage for a scorecard, glove, or phone without bulging or letting items drop while you move.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the water-repellent finish, the elastic waistband, and the smooth run of the pocket zippers.

Between rounds

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
