What we would tell you on the range

  • Deep blue melange knit. The knit blends subtle flecks of color through a solid blue field. It breathes well when the sun comes through, dries fast, and holds its shape through regular wash cycles.
  • Mock collar and zip. The quarter zipper runs down the chest for quick venting on the walk. We built the stand collar with a soft interior finish so it sits comfortably against the neck without chafing.
  • Layering cut. The chest and sleeves leave room for a polo underneath without bunching under the arms. Long sleeves provide full coverage against a persistent wind across open fairways.
  • Side tee pocket. A dedicated holder on the right side keeps a few tees right at hand. Machine wash cold with like colors and dry flat or tumble low to keep the fabric resilient.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
