What we would tell you on the range

  • Collar and zip placket. The mock stand collar blocks early morning wind around the neck. Pull the quarter zip down when the sun breaks through, or leave it up over a polo for warmth across the front nine.
  • Room across shoulders. We patterned the long sleeves with enough ease across the upper back so the fabric does not catch during a full swing. It slides smoothly over base layers without binding at the armholes.
  • Side tee pocket. A dedicated tee slot sits along the right side seam for quick access on the tee box. The stitching stays flat against the hip so the pocket holds shape without adding bulk.
  • Wash and care. Cold machine wash with similar colours and hang to dry. The polyester knit dries quickly, holds its melange tone, and resists shrinking or losing shape at the collar after repeated cycles.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
