What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight weave. We chose a balanced woven fabric that resists wrinkles and holds a sharp press across eighteen holes. It has enough density to cut cold breezes while staying breathable under direct sun.
- Straight leg cut. The leg drops straight from the knee down to avoid bunching over your shoes. That clean drape stays neat through deep knee bends and walking the fairway.
- Four pocket layout. Two front slash pockets sit flat and deep enough for tees and ball markers. In the back, two inset pockets secure scorecards with low-profile button closures.
- Wash and care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang dry or tumble on low heat. The wrinkle-resistant weave comes off the line ready to wear without time spent behind an iron.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
