What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight cloth. The woven fabric carries enough heft to cut morning wind while remaining breathable through midday sun. It sheds wrinkles naturally, holding its structure without demanding time at an iron before your round.
- Straight leg room. We shaped the leg with side-to-side stretch to keep the fabric from binding across your thighs when you crouch to read a putt. The hem drops straight to sit cleanly over your golf shoes.
- Four pocket layout. Two front slash pockets hold extra tees and ball markers without bunching. Across the back, two welt pockets button closed to secure a scorecard or glove flat against the hip.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold with similar shades and tumble dry on low heat. The dye holds fast, and hanging them right out of the dryer keeps the leg crease crisp.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding
- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
