What we would tell you on the range
- Medium weight stretch. The weave gives from side to side when you drop into your stance. It holds its shape through four hours of walking, resisting creases in the car ride home.
- Straight leg cut. A clean drape through the knee and ankle keeps the profile neat. The hem sits flat against golf shoes without catching on your spikes as you walk.
- Four pocket layout. Two front slash pockets sit flat against the hip. In the back, two welt pockets secure with buttons to keep a scorecard or glove tucked safely out of the way.
- Care and wash. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang dry to preserve the light grey shade. The fabric sheds wrinkles quickly, so you rarely need an iron.

Worth doing
- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
