What we would tell you on the range

  • Four-way stretch knit. The lightweight jersey gives across both axes so the back panel does not pull tight through your swing. It breathes well on hot afternoons and sheds sweat quickly to keep the fabric light.
  • Structured collar stand. A three-button placket and reinforced stitching keep the collar flat around the neck. The contrast print lining stays hidden until you open the top buttons for ventilation on warm rounds.
  • Side vent hem. We split the hem at the side seams so the tail rests clean over shorts or trousers. It sits flat when worn untucked and stays anchored if you choose to tuck it in.
  • Easy wash care. Wash on a cold cycle and tumble dry on low heat. The collar keeps its line without ironing, and the beryl green shade stays true after repeated trips through the laundry.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
