What we would tell you on the range

  • Four-way stretch knit. The fabric pulls easily in all directions, so the back panel does not catch at the top of a backswing. It breathes well in direct sun and dries fast when the humidity climbs.
  • Contrast inner collar. We lined the inner collar band and three-button placket with a geometric print. It adds structure to the neckline, helping the collar stay crisp instead of curling flat after a full round.
  • Split hem construction. Side vents let the hem settle cleanly over golf shorts or trousers. It sits flat when left untucked and holds in place with enough length if you prefer to tuck it in.
  • Wash and care. Wash cold with similar light colours and tumble dry on low heat. Pull it from the dryer promptly to keep the peach tone bright and the collar edges sharp without pressing.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
