What we would tell you on the range

  • Contrast collar band. We lined the inner collar and three-button placket with a geometric print. The self-fabric collar points stay flat without curling, while the hidden pattern shows cleanly when you unfasten the top button.
  • Four way stretch knit. The fabric pulls smoothly in four directions so the back panel does not bind across your shoulder blades at the top of a backswing. It moves sweat away from the body and dries quickly in summer heat.
  • Split side hem. We added side slits to the bottom hem so the fabric falls clean over shorts or trousers when worn untucked. Reinforced stitching keeps the hem flat through regular wear instead of rolling upward at the hips.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold with similar darks and tumble dry on low heat. Hang it straight from the dryer to settle the collar points and keep the solid brown tone from fading under repeated cycles.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
