What we would tell you on the range

  • Four way stretch knit. The fabric breathes well in full sun and pulls moisture away from skin so it dries quickly. Four-way stretch lets you turn through a swing without the chest or shoulders binding.
  • Contrast collar band. We reinforced the collar band so the collar stays crisp through eighteen holes. An inner print lines the stand and the three-button placket, giving the neckline clean structure when worn unbuttoned.
  • Split side hem. Small side vents let the hem sit flat over shorts or trousers. It hangs cleanly if you leave it untucked, and stays put when tucked into a waistband during a full swing.
  • Washing and care. Wash cold with similar colours and hang to dry out of direct sun. The knit sheds wrinkles quickly and the collar points hold their shape without needing an iron.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
