What we would tell you on the range

  • Pink jersey knit. The lightweight fabric pulls moisture away from the skin and dries fast on hot afternoons. It moves in all four directions so the back panel stays flat across the top of your swing.
  • Contrast collar band. We reinforced the collar to hold its points upright through eighteen holes. An inner print lining lines the stand and three-button placket, giving structure to the neckline when unbuttoned.
  • Side vented hem. Small slits at the side seams let the lower hem fall straight across shorts or trousers. The tail stays tucked during movement, or sits flat over a waistband when left out.
  • Wash and care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low. The reinforced seams retain their shape, and the collar lies flat without needing an iron.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
