What we would tell you on the range

  • Collar and placket build. We reinforce the three-button placket and collar so the neckline keeps its shape across eighteen holes. Opening the top buttons shows a subtle printed lining inside the band.
  • Four way stretch knit. The lightweight knit flexes in four directions to let your arms swing freely. It breathes well, dries fast, and gives reliable sun coverage through long hours outside.
  • Side slit hem. We cut the lower hem with side vents to keep the shirt sitting flat across your hips. It gives enough drape to wear untucked without bunching.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The collar stays flat right off the hanger without pressing, and the grey tone resists fading.

Worth doing

  • Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
  • Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
  • Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.
  • Check the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Worth avoiding

  • Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
  • An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
  • Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
