What we would tell you on the range
- Brushed fleece knit. The outer face shows a heathered light blue yarn while the inside is brushed into a fine microfleece. It traps warm air close to your base layer without binding across your back when you take a full backswing.
- Contrast mock collar. The collar stands upright on its own, framed with a darker contrast tone at the inner band. Pull the quarter zip tight against cold air or drop it open to vent heat once the sun breaks through.
- Layering cut. We proportioned the chest and arms to slide over a standard pique or jersey polo. The cuffs and bottom hem stay close to your wrists and waist, keeping excess fabric out of the way of your grip.
- Wash and care. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry on low heat. The knit resists surface pilling and keeps its soft inner fleece through repeated cycles, so the collar holds its line all season.

- Wash it cold, inside out, with the placket buttoned so it keeps its line.
- Hang it to dry; performance jersey is usually wearable again by morning.
- Store it on a hanger with real shoulders, not folded damp in the bag.

- Fabric softener. It coats the fibre and the wicking quietly stops working.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is hard on elastane and on printed panels.
- An iron face-down on a print or a logo.
- Leaving it wadded in the trunk between weekends.
